Joe Smith
Joe Smith is a professional fine artist who lives in the Comox Valley. He
studied at the Montreal Museum of Fine Art, has had a varied career as a commercial
artist, photographer and marketing executive but now focuses his attention
on painting full time. He has exhibited extensively in galleries, juried shows
and solo exhibitions. Joe paints in a realistic style using watercolours and
is known for his landscapes, cityscapes and coastal subjects. His paintings
can be found in corporate and private collections in Canada and abroad. His
studio and gallery is located in the town of Union Bay which is a 15 minute
drive south of Courtenay.
