Stuart Duncan – As a child, Stuart was always drawing, deriving inspiration from the natural world around him. Stuart's ability to depict the world through the use of realistic lines led him into a career as an illustrator. Later it inspired him to produce a line of jewellery that marries realism to silver. Stuart lives on 12 acres of the Pacific Northwest forest filled with birds, animals and ponds, so he only needs to open the front door or look out the window to see deer, ravens, shooting stars, slugs, juncos or hummingbirds. Stuart believes that when we look at the colours and lines of a bird, the beautiful shape of a plant, or movement of deer, we recognize within us beauty and strength of the natural world. It is important to remember that we are also a part of it. Stuart believes it is important to celebrate the natural world around us because even though we try to dominate it, it is so often forgotten that we are also a part of it.

wrappings  or designs, involves many layers & much imagination. The Tree of Life is a prominant, and popular theme in John's work. Although some pendants appear similar, each one is unique.
